General thunderstorms are forecast across the southern Adriatic, Ionean and Aegean Seas.

SYNOPSIS

A slightly perturbed, but quasi-stationary Rossby wave over Europe has its ridge over the British Isles and its trough across Poland and Belarus.

Under the influence of the eastern European trough, relatively cold midlevels across the southern Adriatic, Ionean and Aegean Seas should yield a small amount of CAPE at low levels, enabling the formation of a few thunderstorms.
